There is something very joyful about this attunement. The Level 1 and 2 attunements have a tendency to bring up things that need healing, so although they are very powerful and life changing, they can also bring about a healing crisis. The Reiki Level 3 attunement is much more likely to bring a more permanent state of joy with it. Many Reiki practitioners report that they feel noticeably lighter, happier, and more joyful and that this becomes their new baseline of happiness. I think that is wonderful and worth pursuing on its own merits.

In Reiki Master Level, we learn the master symbols, which allow us to do the attunements and bring in the power of doing spiritual healing. Spiritual healing is when we address wounds that occur at the spiritual level, such as past live issues, the spiritual foundations of our mental and physical health, and our soul-level contracts with people.

The Reiki Master Level symbols are powerful and very healing, and most people fall in love with them. The master symbol Dikomyo means “align with the divine” and it helps us to do that, which is why working with this symbol brings about such a state of peace and joy.

You will also learn how to give attunements to other people. It’s a fabulous way to share the Reiki love. Because the attunements themselves are so healing, I encourage you to practice the attunements on anyone you can. Naturally, you need to be working with a Reiki Master to receive your master level attunement. Find a teacher that you resonate with and study hard. There is a deeper spiritual practice that goes with the master level training. This is an excellent time to level up your spiritual practice and really commit to something like a daily yoga or a meditation routine, so that you can continue to strengthen those spiritual muscles.
